Believed to be about 3-5 years old, Eli has had quite the journey from his former life in a mill situation, and he has blossomed with rescue care. Now fully vetted, microchipped, and kept on flea and heartworm prevention, Eli is ready for his forever home. He is believed to be a Miniature Pinscher and Chihuahua mix, sporting a short, double coat in striking black and golden hues. Eli is bursting with energy—he loves to zip around the backyard, do zoomies, and play with other small dogs. While he’s made significant progress, Eli still has some growing to do and will benefit from continued one-on-one training. He’s come to enjoy being petted and loved. Currently on a half dose of doggie prozac to help him focus and calm his energetic spirit, Eli could be compared to a child with boundless enthusiasm. He’s not the biggest fan of large dogs, though he can coexist with them if needed, but he truly delights in the company of his small dog pals. Eli is making steady progress with nail trims and is well on his way to being fully house trained. He's looking for a home that can offer him continued training, patience, and lots of affection.
