About Primrose
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Primrose (Rosie), a tiny and spirited five-year-old blue Miniature Pinscher looking for a loving home in the metro Atlanta area. Weighing just 5.6 lbs, Rosie is bursting with energy—she’s either fast asleep or joyfully bouncing around. With a docked tail, natural ears, and a beautiful blue coat, she is fully vetted and ready for her next adventure. Rosie is crate trained and does well with house training as long as she’s kept on a strict schedule, and her passion for food makes her a joy to train. Though initially timid with new faces, Rosie warms up quickly—usually within a day or two—ready to shower affection and seek out playtime or cuddles. She gets along with calm dogs who give her space, but she truly prefers to have her person all to herself, so she would thrive best as an only dog. Due to her petite size, households with small children aren’t the best fit. She has always known life with a secure fenced yard and strongly prefers to do her business off-leash, making a yard a must for her happiness. Like many blue Min Pins, Rosie experiences color dilution alopecia, requiring no special treatment except a helping of fish oil to support her skin health. Note: All pets in a potential adopter’s home must have a verifiable vet reference and be spayed or neutered, current on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention. Start your journey together! Apply now.

Questions about Primrose
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Miniature Pinschers are best suited for homes where they can be close to their people. They thrive in both apartments and houses as long as they get enough attention and playtime. Secure yards are ideal to let out their energy safely.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
This breed enjoys having a secure outdoor area to run and play, but they can adapt to apartment life with daily walks and play sessions. A fenced yard is preferred for their safety and happiness.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Miniature Pinschers can be good companions for older children who know how to interact gently with small dogs. Their small size makes them less suited for homes with very young children.
