About Glochid

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Glochid came to safety in October 2024 after being found in an area full of predators, making her survival nothing short of remarkable. With a gentle introduction to foster care, she spent considerable time focusing on socialization, showing the earliest signs of trust in 2026. While Glochid is not quite ready for cuddles, she is no longer timid—curiously observing people interact with other cats. The journey to her heart is ongoing, and every positive interaction helps her feel more secure. The more people who talk to her and show her gentle kindness, the sooner Glochid will understand she’s truly safe. Medically, Glochid has experienced some intermittent ocular discharge during her stay, which the shelter believes is due to the stress of communal cat living. It’s very likely this will resolve in a relaxed home environment. Fun fact: Glochid was born on October 31, making her a Scorpio! Scorpio cats are often known for their depth, resilience, and mysterious charm—perfect traits for a survivor like her. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
