PLEASE NOTE: Noel will only be adopted out within 30 miles of the Rochester< NY area Meet Noel — A Little Survivor with a Big Heart On a bitterly cold December night, Noel was found alone on a doorstep—abandoned, fragile, and fighting to survive. Emaciated, dehydrated, and suffering from multiple untreated conditions, it was heartbreakingly clear she had gone without the care, comfort, and love every dog deserves. But Noel’s story didn’t end there—it was just the beginning of her second chance. Now safe in a loving foster home, Noel has blossomed into a gentle, affectionate, and quietly playful little girl. At around 7 years old and just 8 pounds, she’s the perfect companion-sized pup who wants nothing more than to be close to her person. A true lap dog, Noel will happily curl up beside you, soaking in every bit of love she once went without. She is fully house trained, sleeps peacefully through the night (preferably snuggled up on the bed), and has a healthy appetite. Noel enjoys her walks and is gaining strength and confidence each day. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and even cats, making her a wonderful addition to a multi-pet home. Noel is spayed, fully vaccinated, and has had a dental cleaning. She’s made incredible physical progress—gaining a healthy amount of weight and thriving on her prescription kidney diet. While she does have some ongoing medical needs, she is stable and doing very well with proper care. Because of her past, Noel can be a bit vocal when first left alone and would do best in a quieter home where someone is around much of the time to reassure her she’s safe. In return, she will give you unwavering loyalty, comfort, and love. Noel has already endured more than any dog should—but she hasn’t lost her capacity to love.
