Cookie is a gentle, sweet soul who is ready to find her perfect forever home. She's a petite girl with pink toebeans, the most beautiful coloring, and a big and loving heart! A self-proclaimed foodie, Cookie will faithfully follow you when it’s mealtime and sit politely behind her plate to let you know she’s ready—and she’ll do just about anything for a Churu! When she isn't dreaming of snacks, she’s a professional lounger who loves napping and watching the world go by from the window. While she’s a quiet girl, she has a hidden playful side that comes out with her favorite toys. Cookie is famous for her "slow paw"—the adorable way she’ll gently place a paw on you to ask for pets. She does wonderfully as a solo cat, but a furry sibling might be just what she needs to spark even more of her playful spirit. Every day, Cookie shows how thankful she is to be indoors, and she’s just waiting for the lucky family that will bring her home. Cookie landed on the streets of Cypress Hills when her human died and she was put outside around 2024, but she didn't let that get her down and made friends with everyone on the block. When we heard about her, we wasted no time and brought her back indoors so she can spend her golden years warm, comfortable, and snuggled up. Cookie is estimated to be 8 years old. She's spayed, vaccinated, free of fleas and parasites, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She's also had extensive dental treatment from our vet, so she can finally eat and live without pain.
