About Snack Pack
Meet Snack Pack! This handsome 4 year old is Shepherd in the front and Husky in the back which is probably the dog version of a mullet. He's very people friendly and has enjoyed enjoyed spending time with staff and volunteers. In typically furry dog fashion he seems to prefer outside to inside, but we betting he would be fine even if you don't have a backyard for him to romp around in. He walks nicely on leash and seems to have a moderate energy level. If you want to make friends, he loves cheese and also enjoys Pupperoni treats, but his true motivation is attention. He has ears for days and eyes that watch everything you do. He's shown some interest in squeaky toys and we suspect that once he's settled in he will show more interest in play. Right now he just wants to be a lap dog. We think he will do well with children. He takes treats gently and loves being petted and scratched all over. If you have other dogs, he will need a meet and greet to make sure they like each other. We think he would be a good fit with a dog who matches his energy level.. We aren't sure if he has prior cat experience, but with an appropriate slow introduction he could be open to co-existing with a feline. **In order to adopt an unspayed/unneutered dog from HSMC, You must live within an hour of the shelter.
