Lucky is a friendly, easygoing senior who still has a surprising spring in his step and loves greeting everyone with a loose, happy body and a wagging tail. He walks nicely on leash, enjoys attention, and leans in for pets—especially scratches at the base of his tail. Lucky didn’t show interest in toys or food during his evaluation, but he was social, gentle, and easy to handle throughout. In his dog meet, he was calm and mostly indifferent, sharing polite brief sniffs with the helper dog before moving on. Lucky would benefit from a meet and greet with any resident dogs, a slow intro to new environments, and continued positive reinforcement training. He’s a sweet, mellow companion ready to bring warmth and joy to a loving home. Lucky is going home with a $500 credit at Pender Veterinary Clinic and his adoption is fee-waived.
