About Winkle
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Winkle is bursting with energy and thrives on plenty of exercise, making him the perfect companion for an active person or family. He loves engaging in playful activities such as retrieving balls and chasing squirrels in the yard, always eager for the next round of fun. Winkle’s affectionate and sweet nature shines through when he snuggles up after playtime. He is an intelligent dog who knows several commands, including sit, stay, down, off, and come, and he’ll even offer his paws for cleaning after outdoor adventures. Housebroken and crate trained, Winkle does especially well in his crate overnight. While he may be initially apprehensive when new people enter the home, he quickly warms up with a bit of patience and understanding. He is making progress with car rides and walks nicely on leash. Winkle would thrive in a peaceful home without children or teens, and requires a fenced yard to safely play and run. He gets along very well with other active dogs and has successfully lived with cats, showing patience and adaptability. Fun fact: Winkle is a Gemini, so he’s naturally curious and eager to learn new things! Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
