Meet Benny! Benny is a friendly dog, who shows that sometimes the best things come with time! Benny was very nervous when he first entered our care and was apprehensive when it came to interaction and while he can still be a bit shy when greeting new friends, this pup has found a completely new sense of confidence and is as friendly as can be! Benny seems to love attention once comfortable and has overall become very easy to interact with in our care. Benny did very well when meeting our helper dog at the shelter and was very interested in following the helper dog around, though Benny did not engage or initiate any play behavior with the helper dog, the interaction was positive! It is always recommended that any potential doggy siblings be brought in to meet our available dogs to ensure compatibility! This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5 day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff. Be sure to check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
