She loves attention, leans right into pets, and quickly charms anyone she meets. This playful girl is always ready for a game of chase or fetch and is easily redirected if she gets a little too enthusiastic with her toys. Like many young pups, Hazel is still learning her manners around food and high value treats, so giving her space at mealtimes is best. She also has a confident, forward style when meeting other dogs, so a proper dog to dog intro will help set her up for success. Hazel is smart, social, and eager to learn — and she’ll shine even brighter with a family willing to continue her training and help her grow into her best self. It’s a 5 day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Be sure to check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
