***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org*** This big ham sandwich squishy faced guy is Simba. Simba came to us because he was left abandoned in a rental. As sad as that is, it is even worse that had the landlord not come to check on the property sometime later he may not have made it. Simba was very malnourished when he was found. He's made up for his lack of snacks during that time and he's all filled out now. This guy is so incredibly sweet. He does feel a little nervous just for a minute when he first meets new people but he warms up right away. He seems to get along with other dogs. We aren’t sure about cats but could test that out! He’s pretty powerful but just wants to be close to you all the time. He keeps a clean kennel, doesn’t destroy toys or chew up blankies. He would probably love to go for walks and car rides too....for pup cups!!! He is neuters, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. His adoption fee is $275.00
