Meet the handsome lad, Nittany! This orange sweetheart is ready to melt into the arms of his forever family. Nittany came from the euthanasia list from an overcrowded shelter in North Carolina. Trash Cat Rescue stepped in to pull him and several other cats to find them their forever homes! Since day one of coming into foster, he has been a loving sweetie pie. He quickly warmed up to his new foster family and loves pets! He is relatively independent but does have short times where he requests your full attention by getting in your lap and rubbing his face all over you. He mainly spends his days lounging around and relaxing in his cat tree. Nittany also loves catnip, especially when it's stuffed in a plushie toy or sprinkled on a cardboard scratcher! He loves rolling around and rubbing his face all over them. Occasionally, he'll bat at a wand toy or a toy mouse. Nittany loves a cozy hidey-hole to relax in so you might find him resting in weird places (like inside a dresser drawer, a cardboard box with the lid closed, or under a pile of laundry). He has moments of orange-cat derpiness of course, and can be a tad clumsy, like not jumping high enough to land on his cat tree or misstepping and falling off his foster's desk. Oh, Nittany... He is a chill, loving guy who would do well in a variety of homes! He loves other cats and dogs, with slow and proper introductions, but could also be ok as the only pet in the home. He hasn't interacted with many children, but could do ok in a home with respectful kiddos. He doesn't mind being picked up and is very easy to handle. Nittany is estimated to be about 2 years old.
