And she has a voice to match! You might think she's mad at you all the time based on her face, but her purrs and love of attention say otherwise. Pony came to Trash Cat in rough shape. A very kind woman alerted us to a starving and lethargic cat hiding in her outdoor shelter on the coldest day of the year! In walks Pony. She was a lover girl from the get-go and just needed a little help to get back on her feet. Now she is thriving and loves her indoor life. She isn't much of a lap cat but she loves attention and pets. That being said, she is very easy to handle and doesn't have any problem being picked up when needed. She also lets you brush her to keep her coat in good shape. She prefers a cozy bed or window perch to playtime, so she is a great fit for someone looking for a chill girl to spend their days with. She does fine with other cats, but spends most of the day solo, so we think she would do great as your only love or in a house with other older cats who give her space. We think she would do well with older children who don't expect a playmate. She has not met a dog. Pony is estimated to be 5 years old. She has been spayed, flea treated, dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV / FeLV.
