We don't know what challenges they faced while trying to grow up out there, but that time has made her a bit cautious around people and new environments. Pearl was the only sister with three brothers. She became protective of them, almost like a mama bear. However her confidence made her the toughest one of the litter to crack. Pearl is more independent when it comes to people. She is polite and lets her foster mom approach her to scratch her head or under her chin. Pearl is not afraid to let you know if she doesn't like how she's being interacted with. She does have a soft spot for Churu and tolerates more when it's presented to her. Pearl would be a great friend for another cat that would like to cuddle and keep her company. She would be a great companion for your cat(s), and will probably warm up faster to a cat than a human. She wasn't sure how to handle a dog when first meeting one. She was timid and hid when she got the chance. She might be able to integrate into a home with cat-savvy calm dogs, provided with slow, proper introductions. We recommend that Pearl go to a patient home that has cat experience with no young children. She will need a home to provide her time to adjust and give her grace while getting used to her new home.
