Please read the following information WILLOW AND CHASE are in foster care in Houston,Texas The adoption fee includes the transportation If interested there is an application on our website houston shaggy dog rescue Willow and Chase are 3 yr old Shetland Sheepdogs that were owner surrendered when she became too ill to care for them, they are a bonded pair Chase is a male and weighs 28 lbs he is a Sable and white Willlow is the female and weighs 25 lbs and she is a Bi Black. They came from the same breeder but are not related,per the paperwork that we have Both tested Heartworm negative, however we had our vet do Microfilaria tests on both and Chase’s was positive After consulting with the AHS they confirmed that we could do the 2 shot protocol of immiticide treatments in conjunction with Advantage Multi Both are beautiful dogs , they are house and leash trained but can be a little scared when you first go to leash them and will buck .. they soon settle down and walk very quietly They tend to be on the nervous side and loud noises scare them, they would do better in a quiet home with no other dogs they do get along with the other dogs but prefer to be on their own or with each other hanging out in a crate with a doggie bed Willow is very protective of her food with the other dogs They do like being able to run out to the yard and sit on the patio when the weather is nice They need to be adopted by experienced Sheltie owners and we will be requiring vets records,it’s best if there are no small children in the household that could upset them , there is an application on our website. www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK the adoption fee is $600 for each dog and includes the transportation.
