About Loki
Loki is a 7-month-old male Corgi/Australian Shepherd mix, estimated at about 20–25 lbs, living in West Falls, NY. He came to rescue after being saved from a puppy mill and adapted well to home life, overcoming hurdles like crate training, leash walking, and being left alone, thanks to a patient foster. Loki was born with microphthalmia, so he has small eyes and limited vision, and he’s also deaf. None of that seems to slow him down. He navigates the world confidently, sniffing out new friends and greeting people and dogs with a cheerful attitude. Loki doesn’t startle or spook easily, a rare trait for a pup with hearing and sight differences. He’s very social—especially with other dogs—and would thrive with a canine companion. Cats are an open question, but he’d likely be playful. While house training is a work in progress, he’s crate trained and does well on walks. Loki’s excitement for life means a home without very young children is best, as he’s still bouncy and learning boundaries. He’ll need his upcoming neuter, so adopters must be local. Loki is vaccinated and bursting with potential, ready for someone who understands puppy energy with a twist. Your next adventure is waiting. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
