About Clancy
Clancy, a medium-sized female dog with a unique blend of Corgi and Husky, has experienced profound changes in her behavior since being returned to the rescue. Born around August 29, 2017, she weighs approximately 35 lbs. After losing her previous owners, Clancy exhibited aggressive tendencies towards humans and other dogs, likely due to her traumatic experiences and social isolation during COVID. Originally, she thrived under the care of the Rooney family, who managed her needs and ensured she was comfortable in their company. Since arriving at Joyful Rescues, Clancy has begun to show glimpses of her former self with patience and gentle encouragement. With dedicated caregivers, she's made progress and even approached Joye for affection recently. Clancy will live out her days in the sanctuary as a cherished companion, away from stressful environments. Her ideal home requires an understanding of her needs; she's not suitable for homes with children as she needs a calm and respectful atmosphere. Clancy is ready for her new chapter, and with your love, she can truly thrive. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
