Meet Tier! This fun-lovin' guy is a 5 year old neutered Siberian Husky. Him and his sister, Freya, were surrendered to us through no fault of their own. Recent life changes had unfortunately made it to where their owner could no longer care for them, so she made the tough decision to find them new homes. Immediately upon meeting Tier, we got a look at that signature Husky sass! This boy is playful and goofy, and soon had us chasing him around the yard trying to get good photos of him. He does well with strangers, and was gladly letting us love on him. In his previous home he lived with dogs, cats, and kids, and did well with them all! Something you can tell immediately upon meeting Tier is that he is severely overweight. He currently weighs 107 pounds, but you can see by his frame that he is not supposed to weigh nearly that much. Especially as he gets older, being so overweight will be very bad for his health, so his owner will need to be diligent about getting him back in good shape. We have already started him on a diet, but it will take work to get him where he should be. The good news is that Tier loves to play, so if you can find a way to make exercise fun he will gladly join in! Tier is such a sweet boy and he deserves to be back in a home where he can be loved again!
