I'm a Staten Island boy who came to Good Home when a nice human found me with a broken jaw. After receiving some expert vet care, I'm all healed up and have been so happy snuggling with humans - first in foster care and now in the Cat Lounge! I love a good lap to cuddle in! Whether my person is working at their desk or sitting on the couch, I want to be in their lap. I'm a gentle, curious boy who wants to know what you're up to and have the option to be included! I'd make a great work from home companion, perched by your computer or purring on your lap. When I'm not snuggling up with my human I love playtime! I love a wand toy but I'm also very pleased to play by myself - I love mouse toys and ping pong balls. I also love my scratching board and am a very accomplished biscuit maker! No home I live in will be short of short fresh biscuits. I'd be happiest in a quiet to moderately active home, with humans who love having cuddle time as much as I do. I'm a little shy at first, but with care and patience I'll come out of my shell and be your best buddy. In foster care I lived with another easy-going cat and we got along pretty well, but I could also live quite happily as a single cat as long as my human isn't gone all the time. I'm an affectionate, social boy after all! And while I haven't lived with dogs before so my fosters aren't sure if I'd be okay with them, they do think I would be good with gentle children.
