She is being fostered in Dallas, TX, and must be adopted within the Dallas or North Central Texas area. Emmie is a young, spayed female who loves everyone she meets and is especially wonderful with children. With her high energy and loving personality, she thrives in an active, playful home where she can interact with other small or medium dogs. If you're looking for a companion who enjoys adventure, playing outside, and zooming around a secure, fenced yard, Emmie is the perfect fit! Rescued with her siblings after being abandoned, Emmie has blossomed into a confident, nurturing puppy who loves cuddles, attention, and being part of all the action. She gets along well with the other small dogs in her foster family, plays with her favorite plush toys, and always wants to be involved in whatever you're doing. This clever girl learns quickly—she's house trained, uses potty pads, and is getting the hang of walks with a harness and leash. Emmie loves to snuggle, is playful, and absolutely adores her family. Emmie is looking for a home where she will not be an only dog; it's best if she has another small, young canine friend. Her family should be able to check on her every 4-6 hours—she's not a good match for people gone long hours daily. A secure area around the front door is recommended as she can dart quickly. She’s living with mature children (8 and up) and does fabulously with them. Her noticeable dark chocolate coat with touches of white, adorable ears, and sparkling personality make her simply irresistible! Emmie will be spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. She is heartworm negative and on prevention. Reference checks and an adoption contract are required, and all current pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention.
