Miko was found lying unresponsive at the edge of a Memphis street. A kind passerby rushed her to a nearby vet clinic, where staff feared the worst--she was gravely malnourished and hypothermic. A staff member cradled her as she seemed to slip away, when a tiny, determined meow sparked hope. The clinic stabilized her with dextrose and warmth, and then one of our foster moms brought her home to nurse back to health. Miko's survival is nothing short of a miracle and a testament to her fierce will to live! Because of her rough start in life, she is still learning to fully trust, but making steady progress every day.
