Bio from TN Figgy was rescued from a feral colony behind a Memphis Firehouse Sub restaurant in conjunction with a TNR effort. He was young enough to be open to human interaction and also in very poor condition physically when found, so we accepted him into rescue so that he would have the opportunity for medical care and a much better life! Figgy will be a bit shy at first, but once you start stroking him, the purr motor starts. Gentle and curious, Figgy needs a little time and patience to settle into new surroundings, yet each day he gains confidence and relaxes into indoor life. His top ten list includes: cozy hiding spots, soft nappy places, bird watching and toys with feathers and wands. Churu, canned food and treats also quickly win his heart! He was fostered with Miko, and although they aren't related, the two kittens are great buddies. --They would make an ideal pair for someone ready to offer a calm, loving home where shy kittens can grow brave and affectionate.
