Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Queso! This petite orange tabby, estimated to be around 10 years old, has been through more than most. He came from an outdoor colony and found his way into a neighbor’s garden during a brutal snowstorm, suffering in the freezing cold and barely hanging on. He was so close to not making it - but he did, and with care and time, he’s made a full recovery. Because of his past, he can be shy at first and needs a little time to feel comfortable. But once he does, you start to see who he really is - a sweet, gentle boy who leans into pets and quietly enjoys affection. He doesn’t ask for much, just a calm space and someone willing to be patient with him. There’s something special about Queso - he’s resilient, soft natured, and clearly grateful for kindness. After everything he has been through, he deserves a home where he can finally relax and be cared for. If you’re willing to give him a chance and a little time, he’ll meet you with quiet trust and a lot of heart. Now all Queso needs is someone to choose him! All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
