About Salem
Meet Salem, a male Yorkie/Chihuahua mix! Salem is about 10 months old and 10 lbs. He is available for meet and greets! Salem is a very sweet cutie that is house and crate trained. He is good with other dogs and loves to be with his people! He loves to cuddle! His foster says, "He is extremely sweet, total lap dog and is switching to outside potty over puppy pads very easily! Not food aggressive. Like dogs of all sizes. Gets puppy zoomies, likes to play but also likes a lap life. Great with kids cautious of men, very shy at first but settles with time. Crate trained and sleeps through the night in bed or crate. He's a absolute love!" We are accepting applications for him now! He has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how he would do with cats but expect him to be fine with them after a proper introduction. He is medically up to date and will be neutered before adoption. Apply to meet this special pup today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
