Monica arrived in rescue when her previous family could no longer care for her. Her foster mom says: Monica is just a sweetheart. She loves pets, treats, and chew bones. Monica is crate trained and is definitely good at going outside but does have an occasional accident. I suggest a crate in the beginning when she is unsupervised. She has never had an accident in her crate. Monica warms up to females a little faster than males, but it won’t take her long to love everyone in the home. Monica sits very well to put a leash on and off, once outside she gets very excited and wants to explore everywhere so a retractable leash isn’t a great option for her, a shorter leash is a better bet for her safety. Monica is just fine with other dogs but if you have another dog know that she will get a bit jealous and try to join in on any attention being given. She craves affection and will paw you a bit to let you know she wants pets, but she also loves just laying down next to where you are. When excited Monica will jump around in circles! She is a very sweet girl who will thrive in a loving home. Monica is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had her teeth cleaned.
