Meet Dulce Dulce means sweet and just like his name, (though we’re not sure he knows it 100%) he’s as sweet as they come. This soulful little guy has a fluffy, poodle-ish coat, that he loves to have brushed, and an even softer heart. Around 3 years old, he’s the definition of a loyal companion—once he chooses his person, he’s all in. Whether it’s curled up beside you on the couch, snuggled in your lap, or tucked into your arms, Dulce just wants to be wherever you are. He’s fully house trained, sleeps peacefully through the night in our bed, and rarely barks. While he’ll go into a crate if needed, he much prefers being close to his human or waiting for you on the couch for a couple of hours until you return. Dulce is a calm, low-key pup who hasn’t shown much interest in toys—his favorite hobbies are napping and loving you! He’s still gaining confidence with new people, sounds, and walking on a leash, so a fenced yard would be ideal while he continues to adjust. With a little patience and love, he blossoms beautifully. P.S. He seems to be unbothered by thunder or fireworks. Dulce would thrive in a home where someone is around often—whether that’s a work-from-home bestie or a retired couple looking for the perfect RV sidekick. He may also enjoy a confident dog sibling to show him the ropes and play chase in the backyard. We haven’t had him around children or cats, and he is a little shy with new people, but he has never shown an ounce of aggression, so he’d probably do okay with them.
