About Tigger

Tigger is a black Labrador Retriever with energy to spare and a personality that doesn't quit. At 4 1/2 years old, he's neutered and still acts like a big, happy kid. Bouncy describes him well—this is a dog who loves to move, play, and entertain, sometimes letting his foster know exactly what he wants in his own unique "talkative" way. He’s active and athletic, needing a home with a 6 ft. privacy fence, or someone committed to training him on an invisible electric fence system. Tigger's social and gets along well with other dogs and even cats. He's also good with children, but would be best in a home where the kids are 7 or older since his size and enthusiasm could knock over little ones. Tigger isn’t fully house-trained yet, but he is crate-trained and learns quickly. He has solid house manners—often lying on the floor right next to his foster mom, soaking up the company. Tigger responds best with gentle guidance on leash walking and basic commands but shows a real eagerness to please. For the right family, he's a loving, attentive companion who just needs a little structure. He's currently in Brazil, Indiana, and looking for a family to call his own.
