Onyx is a loving 2.5-year-old Black Labrador Retriever mix, weighing in at a solid 70 lbs. He originally found a home as a puppy with his brother, but a health change for his owner brought him back to us. This big baby is dog-friendly and currently shares his foster home with another dog. While he’s lived with cats, he can be a little playful, often chasing them without aggression. Not only is Onyx smart and eager to learn—some of his siblings have even become service dogs!—but he's also crate-trained and potty-trained. His previous owner believed he would thrive best in a home without small children, as his size could inadvertently knock them over.
