About Diamond

Click apply to start the adoption process. Diamond is a sweet senior girl who brings love and joy to every space she enters. She gets along well with dogs, cats, and everyone she meets. Whether enjoying the sunshine outside or cuddling up on the couch to watch TV, Diamond fits right into any routine. She is smart and enjoys keeping tabs on her humans, letting them know when things are amiss, and rarely wants to be left out of the funβ€”she’s always happiest tagging along by your side. Although Diamond is deaf, she has adapted beautifully and is learning hand signs with eagerness, especially when there are tasty treats involved. She’s flexible with other pets, yet would also thrive as the only pet as long as she has human companionship. If sharing her home, she does best with older, calmer dogs, and would welcome respectful older children. While she still likes the idea of playing, a gentle environment suits her age and mobility needs best. At 15 years old, Diamond manages age-related conditions such as an old knee injury and some rear-end weakness, requiring regular medication and supplements. Fortunately, she’s cooperative about her care and takes medications easily. She can be vocal and finds stairs challenging, so a single-story home would be ideal. Despite these challenges, Diamond remains a goofy, affectionate companion in search of a peaceful and loving home for her golden years. Her adoption fee has already been sponsored, making now the perfect moment to give this special senior the comfort and friendship she deserves. As an Aries, Diamond has a bold spirit and plenty of courage, true to her astrological sign! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
