About Oreo
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Oreo and his two brothers were rescued after spending three long months at Wise County Animal Control. For the majority of their young lives—about five and a half months—they knew mostly the inside of a noisy, crowded shelter, spending 23 and a half hours a day in a cage. Now, Oreo is making up for lost time and embracing a world of new experiences: from watching TV to hearing household sounds like the washing machine, and even learning to walk on a leash. Everything is brand new for him! Despite his rough start, Oreo has adapted beautifully. He sleeps quietly in his crate at night and is working hard on his house training. Oreo adores playing with other dogs, and he’s wonderful with children in his foster home. He’s also discovered the joy of snuggling and loves to be close to his people, soaking up all the affection he can. Gentle and cuddly, Oreo is more than ready to find a loving forever family who will continue to show him the good life. Fun fact: Oreo was born on April 26, which makes him a Taurus—a sign known for being loyal and loving, just like him! Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
