Meet Ms. Poppins Practically perfect in every way... and just waiting for her person. Ms. Poppins came to us after weeks of surviving on her own near Main Street and the 32nd Naval Base—dodging cars, military traffic, and everything else the world threw at her. After multiple reports and two weeks of failed capture attempts, we were asked to step in... and thankfully, we got her to safety. At first glance, her sweet silver face tells the story of a senior girl who's seen a lot. But don't let that fool you—Ms. Poppins is a spry, spunky, tail-wagging little lady (around 10-ish years young!) with a whole lot of life left to live. She absolutely adores people and lights up around her humans. Her tail rarely stops wagging, and her happy, loving personality shines through in everything she does. She also has a hilarious little quirk—she's quite convinced she's part cat! She enjoys cozy perches, cat toys, and the company of feline friends. It's clear Ms. Poppins once knew love, and she's more than ready to have it again. Because of her past, she does struggle with being alone. Her foster is working on crate skills and building confidence, but she'll do best in a home where someone is around most of the day—or a family who's happy to bring her along on life's adventures. And trust us... she's always up for one. Walks? Yes please. Outings? Even better. Being by your side? Her favorite place to be. She also does wonderfully with other well-mannered dogs of any size.
