Meet Fiona Fiona is a young, energetic pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She's quirky, silly, and full of playful charm-your classic untrained puppy who's still learning how to navigate the world. With her high energy and zest for life, Fiona is always ready for an adventure or a good play session. Since coming into her foster home, Fiona has already made wonderful progress. She's proving to be a true people-pleaser and is highly food motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding for her. She thrives on positive reinforcement and is eager to learn, especially when treats and praise are involved! Because Fiona didn't receive much training in her previous home, she's looking for a patient, dog-savvy adopter who can continue guiding her and helping her build on the great progress she's already made. She can be a bit timid in new situations, but with a calm and encouraging environment, her confidence blossoms and her affectionate, fun-loving nature really shines. Fiona would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy teens (16+) who understand her need for space when she becomes overstimulated. She isn't a match for cats, but she may enjoy having a canine companion who can keep up with her playful energy. Any introductions should be slow and supervised, and she'll benefit from being fed separately and monitored around toys or treats. Due to her high energy level, Fiona is not suited for apartment living and would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can run and play freely. She appears to be potty trained and has no bite history. Fiona is currently working on her impulse control, and a training plan is already in place with Tails A Wagging to help her continue improving. She would especially benefit from continuing training to address her jumping behaviors and build strong manners. Fiona is a medium-sized mixed breed with a short white and brown coat, and she's already spayed and vaccinated-ready to head home with the right family. With time, consistency, and lots of love, Fiona is sure to become a loyal, affectionate companion.
