About Lola
Meet Lola, a young, affectionate, and energetic pit bull terrier mix with a gentle but timid streak. Lola has spent a lot of her life outdoors and is just starting to learn the ins and outs of being an indoor dog. The transition has made her a bit skittish, but she’s starting to understand that people can be sources of treats, kindness, and gentle attention. Lola is still working on her greetings and learning not to jump up when meeting new folks. She needs a calm, predictable home with patient adopters who recognize that confidence and good manners take time to build. Lola will do best with a steady routine and positive reinforcement training. She can live with other dogs if the match is right and introductions are slow and supervised. Kids ages 8 and up are recommended, especially if they’re dog-savvy. She is still learning about cats, so any feline housemates should be confident and capable of handling a curious young pup. Apartment life isn’t for her—Lola would thrive where things are more consistent and she has space to adjust at her own pace. Lola is not fully house trained yet, and continued training and encouragement will be important as she adapts. With the right support, she’s sure to blossom into a well-adjusted companion.
