About Chubs
Chubs is a young, big-hearted mix with plenty of energy to go around. He’s affectionate, playful, and always up for an adventure, but he’s still figuring out what it means to be an indoor dog. Most of his early life was outside, so leashes, structure, and good manners are new territory. Chubs is not yet house trained, but with structure and consistent guidance, he’s likely to catch on quickly. Apartment life isn’t a good fit for him—this boy needs room to stretch out, play, and burn off energy. Chubs isn’t ready to live with other dogs, aside from his littermate, and needs significant socialization before dog park dates or multi-dog living. His experience with cats and children is unclear, but he may do fine with kids 6 and up, provided introductions are handled thoughtfully. What he does need is someone willing to commit to ongoing training, enrichment, and maybe a little bit of chaos as he grows up. His happy, goofy personality will reward you in spades as he matures into a loyal companion. If you’re equipped to take on the large-breed puppy phase and see this big boy through, Chubs may just be your next best friend. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
