About Fonzie And Joanie Bonded
Meet #Fonzie & #Joanie Two stunning blue-eyed Huskies ready for a second chance These two beautiful souls came to The Healthy Hearts and Paws Project as part of a humane case, removed from a home that was living in absolutely disgusting, severely neglected conditions. The environment they were in was heartbreaking ,dirty, unsafe, and no place for animals to live. It’s truly hard to understand how people can live like that and have so little regard for the welfare and safety of the animals depending on them. But thankfully, they are safe now. Fonzie — the handsome tan boy Joanie — the gorgeous black-and-white girl And the first thing you will notice about them? Those striking icy blue Husky eyes. Both of them have the most beautiful blue eyes that just stop you in your tracks. Despite everything they’ve been through, they are incredibly sweet dogs. Like most Huskies adjusting to shelter life, they can be a little reactive when other dogs are going in and out of the shelter doors — it’s loud, chaotic, and overwhelming. But once we get them outside into the yard, everything changes. They relax, their bodies soften, and you can see them finally start to decompress and feel safe. Today while volunteers were taking their photos, they were so patient and listened so well, almost like they knew this moment might help them find their family. We don’t know their exact ages, but they appear to be young — maybe around 2–3 years old. What we do know is this: They deserve so much better than the life they came from. Now they just need someone willing to give them a safe, loving, home where they can finally be the happy Huskies they were meant to be. Imagine waking up every day to those bright blue eyes and wagging tails greeting you. If you’re interested in meeting Fonzie or Joanie, please: Submit a foster or adoption application to: Healthyheartsproject.org/adopt A team member will reach out within 24–48 hours to schedule a meet and greet.
