About Yeti

What are you waiting for? Apply today! When Yeti first arrived at the shelter, he was covered in mats, dirt, and burrs, earning him the nickname Scruffy. Thanks to loving foster care, Yeti is now a stunning, fluffy Great Pyrenees mix, weighing in at a petite 65 pounds—just the right size for any adventure. Yeti combines the best of both worlds: he's smaller than most Pyrs, making him easy to handle, yet still carries all the charm and presence of the breed. Yeti is a heartworm-negative sweetheart who thrives as part of the family and will do best as a primarily indoor companion. All prospective adopters, especially those familiar with the Great Pyrenees breed, will be considered both in Texas and, selectively, out-of-state. Yeti requires a secure and visible fence, with positive, reward-based training preferred. He comes up to date on vaccinations, is neutered, house trained, and enjoys the company of other dogs, cats, and children. Give Yeti the loving home he deserves! Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
