Our beautiful Mama Lilac, who has been through a lot and is now learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She is an incredibly sweet girl who is slowly but steadily rebuilding her trust in people. Lilac will need a little time to adjust to new environments and unfamiliar faces, but with patience (and a steady supply of Churus and tasty treats—this girl loves to eat!), she warms up more quickly than you might expect. Lilac is absolutely stunning—sleek and shiny, with big, soulful eyes that seem to look right into your heart. Once she feels comfortable, her affectionate side shines: she has a loud, constant purr, loves to make biscuits, and has the cutest little “vocabulary” of chirps, grumbles, and soft growls that are more conversational than cranky. After raising her healthy, sweet babies, Lilac is finally getting a chance to enjoy life for herself. She loves quiet moments, cozy nap spots, and good meals, and she’s beginning to rediscover her playful side more each day. While she has been protective of her kittens (as any good mama would be), she came from a large household and, with slow and thoughtful introductions, should be able to live with other cats and respectful dogs. Lilac would thrive in a calm, quieter home that understands her gentle nature and gives her the time and space to settle in at her own pace.
