About Evangeline
Meet Evangeline! First and foremost, yeah, we know...her fur is a disaster, she looks like an electrocuted Q-tip, whatever. We're grooming her as we can in very, very small bits and pieces while keeping our digits and limbs intact. It's a slow process. We're working on it. Evangeline is about three years old, she's a maltese mix, and she's 5.5lbs. That's it. And, yeah, she's 5.5lbs but she's also a vengeful spirit inhabiting the very tiny body of a beanie baby or...something. So here's the thing - Evangeline is a sour patch kid if the "sour" part was, like, arsenic. She's sweet and happy and affectionate...until you irritate her. And by "irritate her", we mean make eye contact, breathe near her, or perceive her in any way, shape, or form. If she decides she likes you? Cool! You can pet her and handle her without sacrificing body parts! She'll bounce all over your legs and in your lap and be all up in your business. Unfortunately at some point she learned that biting is the answer to all of her problems so it's her go-to if anything even mildly inconveniences her. The good thing is that, again, she's 5.5lbs so the damage she can actually do is minimal. She does NOT like sharing her food, treats, or toys or having them touched in any way. She hates children. She barks like she's putting a curse on your entire bloodline and, yeah, she sounds like a squeaky toy when she barks. She'll need regular grooming (which she hates so she'll need to be drugged for it) and she hates the vet. She's not great on a leash and just zips and zooms all over the place and weaves between your legs so not only is she a possessed dandelion, but she's a tripping hazard as well. But, hey, if you're into haunted artefacts with questionable intentions... And if you're okay with probably most likely being bitten by a cotton ball with pointy bits... Adult only home. No other animals. She might do well with occasional play dates with other dogs because she isn't reactive or aggressive towards them but she WILL throw hands over her toys and food.
