Meet Scooter! Technically, Scooter is a catahoula leopard dog mix. Technically. In actuality, he's just a snugglebug. Like, literally all he cares about is snuggling. He's 73lbs of lap dog. Physical touch is his love language. If he's not leaning against your legs or laying on top of you, he's actively thinking about how to make it happen. Scooter is about three years old so he's a relatively young guy. He's a little bit chunky so could stand to shed a few pounds. He's pretty good on a leash for a man his size so regular walks, especially now that the weather is getting nicer, will do both of you a world of good! He hasn't shown much interest in toys while he's been here so he may not be a master at fetch (he much prefers snuggling) but that could change once he settles into his forever home. Scooter is the epitome of a gentle giant. He's well aware of his size (unless he's in your lap and then he conveniently forgets that he's over 70lbs.) He isn't chaos incarnate, he's not a bull in a china shop, and the most dangerous thing about him is the way he wags his tail like he's swinging nunchucks around. He does well with other dogs. He was showing some signs of anxiety around small kids in his previous home but he was an absolute love with the older kids (10+). We can cat test him upon request.
