Rescued from the shelter, this sweet little lady is now discovering how wonderful life can be in a loving home. She may be small, but she brings a whole lot of love, charm, and cuddles wherever she goes. Her Daily Routine Bliss starts her mornings with a potty break in the yard, followed by some adorable zoomies to kick off the day. After burning off that burst of energy, she settles in for breakfast (she’s a light eater) and then enjoys relaxing near her people or entertaining herself with her favorite toys. Her foster family keeps the door to the backyard open, and Bliss happily lets herself out when she needs a potty break. She’s a mellow little companion who goes with the flow of the household— when things are calm, she’s calm too. At the end of the day, she loves to wind down with snuggles and a cozy spot to rest. Personality & Temperament Bliss is what we lovingly call a Velcro girl— she truly enjoys being close to her people and will happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. She has a playful side and absolutely loves squeaky toys, often sprinting through the house proudly carrying one in her mouth. She can be a slightly nervous girl at times and may be afraid of her own shadow now and then. When she first sees certain family members, she might bark until she gets a quick reminder (like a treat or a gentle scratch behind the ears) that everything is okay. Once she settles in, her sweet and affectionate nature shines through. Bliss also enjoys the simple pleasures in life—like finding the perfect stick and relaxing in a sunny spot. Social Skills Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs People: May bark at new people initially but warms up quickly Kids: Has done well in a home with a teen but might be overwhelmed by younger ones Alone Time: Has been fine when left alone Habits: Does not dig and is respectful in the home On the Leash Bliss walks nicely on leash and enjoys getting out and about, though she can be a bit skittish with loud noises. With gentle encouragement and patience, she continues to build confidence every day. Bliss will be a loyal, loving little shadow who brings warmth, sweetness, and quiet joy to your home. Tiny size, tender heart, and endless cuddles—Bliss is ready to live up to her name.
