Meet Tux Tux has had a difficult start to life, spending much of his time outdoors with very little human interaction. Because of this, he can be a bit slow to warm up to new people and environments—but with a little patience and understanding, he truly blossoms. Once Tux feels safe, his loving personality shines. He becomes a total cuddle bug who adores being close to his person. He loves curling up in your lap and will happily stay right by your side, soaking up all the affection he can get. Tux also enjoys the company of other dogs, especially bigger ones, and has a playful side that comes out when he’s with his canine friends. Having a confident dog companion in the home may even help him continue to build his confidence. He is still learning how to interact with cats. Tux will do best with an adopter who can give him the time, patience, and reassurance he needs to adjust at his own pace. In return, he’ll be an incredibly loyal and devoted companion who just wants to love and be loved.
