Howdy, I’m Ranger. I was abandoned and SO SCARED, I just ran and ran for several weeks. Finally, I began to trust a nice family who had other dogs and I started going there to eat. They were nice enough to take me to Big Canoe Animal Rescue where I now get regular meals and caring folks who are helping me learn to trust and overcome being anxious and a bit timid at times. Once I know you, I freely give kisses and will be your best buddy. I like having other dog friends, playing in the dog park, lounging in my kiddie pool, and I walk well on leash. It may take me a little time to settle in because I was on my own for a while and I need to learn about living in a home - maybe a low-key companion dog could help. All BCAR dogs are placed as indoor family pets. No electric fences, please.
