About Lex

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Lex recently moved to a new foster home and is settling in beautifully. His foster mom shares that Lex is an incredibly sweet and submissive boy with both big and small dogs. As he’s grown comfortable in his new environment, he’s begun to play with the larger dogs in the home, showing off his playful side. Lex handles grooming like a champ—he relaxes for baths, blowouts, nail trims, and daily brushing. He is wonderful at the dog park, happily greeting everyone and every dog he meets. Lex loves going on walks and listens attentively. He’s house trained and kennels on command, with just a bit of brief Husky-style howling when first crated, but quickly settles down and sleeps through the night with little fuss. Overall, he’s proven to be an easy, well-mannered houseguest! Lex is a 1 1/2-year-old, medium-sized, 58 lb German Shepherd/Husky/Bull Terrier mix. He’d thrive in a home with another medium or large dog and an adopter who is home most of the time or works from home. Homes with cats or apartments are not a fit for Lex. Lex was born on May 16, so he’s a Taurus! Taurus pets are known for their loyalty and sweet nature. Ready to welcome this loving boy home? Rescue Row looks forward to helping you make your match.
