Shasta was originally found on a busy highway in Amarillo, Texas. It was truly a miracle that she did not get hit by a car, as it was during holiday traffic. After settling into her foster home, it was determined that she was pregnant. She has since been an awesome mom to 9 healthy babies, and she is now ready to come home to the person that she is meant for! Shasta is clever, a bit mischievous, and VERY affectionate once she develops a bond with someone (she loves belly rubs and cuddling!). She loves outdoor activities, especially walks, but afterwards she’s happy to come back inside and sleep next to her person. She’s very independent, and has an almost “cat like” personality.
