Meet the sweetest girl - Honey! Honey was rescued from a neglectful situation where her owner forced her to live outside, tethered with a heavy chain. A neighbor knew the harsh winter was approaching and convinced her owners to surrender her to our rescue. We're so grateful that they did, because now Honey has the opportunity to find a family who will show her the endless love she deserves. Despite everything she's lived through, Honey remains the sweetest, gentlest dogs - that's why we named her Honey! She has blossomed in her foster home and has learned what it feels like to be safe for the first time in her life. Honey is house trained and knows basic commands. She loves to play and would adore a canine companion. We do not have a history of her around cats. Honey's foster parents say she gives the best hugs - for this reason, we think she would do best in a home with older children. She is sensitive to sudden movements so we would love to find her a patient and compassionate home.
