FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Hickory! Hickory is a 1½-year-old, 38 lb Australian Shepherd who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This beautiful girl is truly a total dreamboat! Hickory came to us a bit underweight, and we’re working on helping her fill out and feel her best. She’ll need a home that can continue that journey and keep her happy, healthy, and thriving. She is incredibly sweet, loving, and affectionate, with a goofy, silly personality that makes her so fun to be around. Hickory loves to cuddle and brings a wonderful balance of energy and affection! She does great with other dogs and people and has a happy, confident nature. Hickory is also highly trainable, treat-motivated, and eager to please, making her a great match for someone who enjoys training and wants a dog they can really bond with. This active girl would make an amazing adventure companion—whether it’s hikes, walks, or exploring new places. She could do well as an only dog with continued socialization or thrive as part of a multi-dog home. Hickory has not been tested with cats.
