Meet Kelani! She is a beautiful 1-year-old Australian Shepherd weighing 37 pounds, and she’s ready to find her forever home! This sweet girl is the total package—loving, cuddly, and devoted to her people. Kelani adores people and will form a strong bond with her family. She’s your typical Aussie: smart, active, and happiest when she has a job to do or an adventure to enjoy. After a good hike, play session, or outdoor outing, she’s more than ready to curl up next to you for some well-earned cuddle time. Kelani would thrive with an active family who enjoys outdoor adventures and can keep both her mind and body engaged. Because of her herding breed traits, we are looking for an adopter experienced with herding breeds who understands their intelligence, energy, and need for structure. She would do best in a suburban/rural neighborhood with a securely fenced yard so she can safely run and play. She is not well suited for apartment, condo or city living. She has done well with other dogs in our care and would enjoy a confident canine companion but also could do well as an only dog with continued socialization. She has not been tested with kids or cats. Kelani is ready to give her whole heart to a family who will cherish her, guide her, and include her in life’s adventures.
