Hey everyone! I’m Coco, a 1-year-old chocolate cocker spaniel boy who’s 25lbs of pure puppy love! And yes, I’m sweet as chocolate! I’m technically still a puppy but I’m very calm and settle down quickly when indoors. I love to follow my foster Mom around — she calls me her little shadow — and I’m great with all people including kids. I also get along well with cats and with the dogs I’m met on walks! I think I’d enjoy a doggie sibling so we can pal-around together. I love to play and foster Mom says I’m joyful! I’ve moved around quite a bit in my short life...nobody seemed to have time for me even though I’m the sweetest little boy who just want to be with his humans. I never had anyone take time to help me learn good doggie manners but I’m a good learner. My foster Mom is helping me with my house training skills (I can go all night!), and I walk pretty nicely on a leash...we are working on polishing up my skills. I would also enjoy some puppy training where my human and I can bond together and learn some tricks and basic commands. One thing I am very good at is not chewing on anything in the house...ok i do like to softly chew on my leash but not to ruin it. Foster Mom gave me some chew toys and I have been playing with those. I’m also a very good boy when given treats...I take them very softly. Foster Mom says I’m very well behaved. I stay in my doggie bed when she goes out and take a nap. Then I sleep in my dog bed at night next to her big bed. I am mostly a quiet fellow but will let out a bark if I hear a noise...probably best that I not live in a condo.
