About Madigan
Madigan is a 3-month-old, 10-pound mixed breed puppy who would like to apply to be your tiny, adorable shadow. She is expected to be a medium-sized dog when full grown. She may have applications in progress but is currently available. Name: Madigan-my friends call me Madi. Background: Mixed breed-maybe a little Beagle/Cattle Dog? My Hobbies Include: - Making new dog friends-big, small, I love them all! Playing with toys (bonus points if they squeak) - Power naps to recharge my cuteness - Following my humans around like your tiny, adorable shadow My Story: My life didn't start out so easy—I was found abandoned in a barn with my mom and siblings. But don't worry, I'm not dwelling on that chapter. I made my way to a local shelter where my foster mom saw me and knew I deserved something better. She reached out to her friends at Stop the Suffering, and they welcomed me with open arms. Now I'm safe, loved, and so ready to find my forever family. Currently Working On: - House training (I'm doing great!) - Crate training - Leash walking like a proper lady - Basically, I'm a work in progress (like most young pups!)... but a very cute one. My Ideal Match: - Someone who's ready for puppy snuggles, a little bit of chaos, and a whole lot of love. Bonus points if you have another dog to show me the ropes—but I mostly just want a family who will be patient, kind, and ready to watch me grow into the amazing dog I'm meant to be. Fun Fact: - I may be small now, but I'm expected to grow into the perfect medium-sized best friend—not too big, not too small, just right for all of life's adventures Final Pitch: - If you've been searching for a loyal companion, professional cuddle expert, and full-time best friend... I think we should meet. Adoption fee is $500.00 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only. STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs. We encourage interested individuals to get approved prior to searching as it helps expedite the process. A Petfinder inquiry is not a substitute for an application.
