That soft grin, those gentle eyes… she wants to trust. She wants to be someone’s girl. Edna is an older terrier mix, around 25-ish pounds , the perfect little size to curl up beside you on the couch. She came to us as part of a court case, and it’s clear life hasn’t always been kind to her. The shelter was overwhelming… loud, scary… too much for a quiet soul like Edna. She walks so nicely. She’s gentle. She’s timid at first… but once she trusts you, she loves you in that quiet, loyal, heart-melting kind of way. Edna has lived with cats before and honestly… she just seems like the kind of girl who wants a peaceful, cozy life. We picture her like this… curled up in a sunny spot on the couch watching the neighborhood from the front window taking slow, easy walks with her person finally resting… really resting… knowing she’s safe No more loud kennels.
